RNC announces requirements for making third debate
The third debate is slated for Nov. 8 and will be held in Miami, Fla.
The Republican National Committee on Friday announced its requirements for candidates to attend the third primary debate.
Prospective participants must earn 4% support in at least two national polls or a combination of one national poll and two different early state polls, The Hill reported. They must further reach a 70,000 unique donor threshold as well as racking up at least 200 donors from 20 or more states.
The third debate is slated for Nov. 8 and will be held in Miami, Fla.
At present, former President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, tech mogul Vivek Ramaswamy, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, and former Vice President Mike Pence average over 4.0% support in the RealClearPolitics polling average.
The second debate is scheduled for Sept. 27. Former President Donald Trump will not attend that event and instead travel to Detroit to address union workers amid a major strike in the automotive industry.
