Sen. Ron Johnson praises GOP unity ahead of convention, says Dem policies are destroying the US
Johnson said that Republicans have realized that the Democrats have become so radical which is why they have to be defeated at the ballot box.
Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., said Wednesday that the GOP is very united ahead of the Republican National Convention because the Democratic Party is destroying the country.
"We are unified because we understand that Democratic governance is destroying this country," he said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show.
He highlighted different examples of Democratic policies negatively impacting Americans, including high inflation and the open southern border.
Next week, Republicans will gather in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for the Republican National Convention, where former President Donald Trump is expected to be announced as the party's presidential nominee.
"Everything the Democrats have done when they were in control has weakened America," Johnson said. "Which has emboldened our adversaries around the world."
Johnson added that Republicans have realized that the Democrats have become too radical, which is why they have to be defeated at the ballot box.
