Arrivals and departures at Ronald Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., will be stopped at noon on the Fourth of July for the celebrations of the nation's 250th birthday. 

The Trump administration is planning flyovers, parachutists and fireworks over the nation's capital, which will require flights to be grounded, the New York Times reported. 

Between late June and August, flights will be temporarily grounded for rehearsals and celebrations associated with the Great American State Fair, the Grand Prix and Independence Day events. 

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority said that flight schedules had already been modified to accommodate the expected closures, but more flights could be affected by more temporary suspensions. Weather could also delay or cancel flights.
