The White House is heralding union support for the "big beautiful bill," a legislative vehicle for passing a multitude of President Donald Trump's key agenda items, including border security.

In an email press release on Thursday, the White House pointed to backing from the National Fraternal Order of Police, which threw its support behind the plan due to its labor provisions.

“The ‘One Big Beautiful Bill Act’ is more than legislation—it is a promise kept to the public safety officers across the country and a bold step toward an economy that respects, rewards, and uplifts the people who keep it safe … We appreciate that President Trump is always fighting for our nation’s law enforcement officers," the union said.

The White House also put the spotlight on the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, the National Restaurant Association, the International Foodservice Distributors Association, and a multitude of other labor groups.

"The President is very proud of the one big, beautiful bill, and he wants to see it pass. He wants the Senate to get to work on it and send it to his desk as quickly as possible," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said during the Thursday press briefing.
