President Donald Trump on Friday announced three nominations for vacant U.S. District Court judicial posts.

Trump announced the selection of Megan Benton to serve in the Western District of Missouri, Justin Olson for the Southern District of Indiana, and Brian Lea for the Western District of Tennessee.

Lea currently serves as the deputy associate attorney general for the Department of Justice.

"In his new role, Brian will boldly defend our Constitution, and prioritize LAW AND ORDER in Tennessee — HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN," Trump said.

Benton, for her part, is a trial court judge in Platte County, Missouri. Trump asserted that "[t]he Great State of Missouri deserves a fighter like Megan who will always protect our Constitution, and ensure Liberty and Justice FOR ALL."

Olson previously served in the U.S. Attorney's Office in Indianapolis.

"Hoosiers can trust Justin to always uphold the Rule of Law, and strongly protect their Constitutional Rights," Trump insisted.
