Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday appeared to take a shot at former New Jersey Republican Gov. Chris Christie's weight during a New Hampshire campaign stop.

Speaking at an event in a Windham high school gym, Trump addressed his various primary opponents and his strong polling performance.

"The others at at like 12[%]... I think that's DeSanctimonious but he's rapidly being caught by Ramaswamy, who's good," he stated in reference to Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis and tech mogul Vivek Ramaswamy.

"No Christie, he's eating right now," Trump continued, prompting laughter from the crowd. Trump then pointed to a member of the audience, saying "Sir, please do not call him a fat pig. That's very disrespectful."

"See, I'm trying to be nice," Trump stated after his condemnation prompted objections.

Christie's weight has been a focal point for criticism for years and Trump previously made apparent reference to his size after the ex-governor launched his presidential campaign in June.

"How many times did Chris Christie use the word SMALL? Does he have a psychological problem with SIZE?" Trump asked at the time, according to the New York Post.
