The Trump campaign on Tuesday launched a website highlighting the scope of tax increases under a Harris presidency for the average voter.

Much of the site, dubbed kamalataxincrease.com, focuses on the impact of Harris permitting the Trump tax cuts from the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act to expire.

“When Kamala is in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin this week — will she tell voters that on average they will pay more than $2,000 in extra taxes each year if she is elected and lets the Trump Tax Cuts expire?" asked Trump Campaign National Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. "The choice is simple — more money in your pockets with President Trump or higher taxes with Kamala Harris.”

Nationwide, the campaign estimates the average tax hike to amount to $2,580.57 and further breaks it down by state using data from the Tax Foundation. A press release from the campaign emphasized the impact on Pennsylvania voters, highlighting an expected tax hike of $2,394 per year.

The 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act was one of Trump's hallmark legislative achievements, but has come under scrutiny from some Republicans in blue states over its inclusion of state and local tax (SALT) deduction caps.

One of the only bills introduced by former Rep. George Santos, R-N.Y., sought to increase the cap from $10,000 to $50,000, though it did not become law.
