President-elect Donald Trump on Monday confirmed reports that he planned to declare a national emergency and use the military to carry out a mass deportation program when he returned to the White House.

"TRUE!!!" he posted on Truth Social, resharing a post from Judicial Watch's Tom Fitton highlighting reports of Trump's plans.

Trump has vowed to begin mass deportations on day one and insisted that there exists "no price tag" on the operation.

"When people have killed and murdered, when drug lords have destroyed countries, and now they’re going to go back to those countries because they’re not staying here. There is no price tag," he said.
