Trump 'doesn't care' if Haley stays in primary after New Hampshire

Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday expressed indifference toward former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley's remaining in the Republican primary following the contest in New Hampshire, insisting her lingering would have little impact on the final result.

"No I don’t care if she stays in... Let her do whatever she wants. It doesn't matter," he said, according to The Hill.

Trump made the remarks while campaigning in New Hampshire on the day of the primary. Following the withdrawal of Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis from the race over the weekend, Haley has become the only remaining Trump challenger of any standing in the primary.

Polling data suggests she may be poised to compete in the Granite State, though she generally remains behind Trump by double digits in most surveys.

At the national level, Trump commands an overwhelming 54.6% lead in the RealClearPolitics polling average.
