Trump releases ad focusing on alleged murder of 12-year-old by illegals
Two illegal immigrants have been charged with murder and sexual assault related to her death.
Former President Donald Trump on Monday released an ad focusing of the death of Jocelyn Nungaray, a 12-year-old girl killed this year, allegedly by illegal immigrants.
Two illegal immigrants have been charged with murder and sexual assault related to her death.
The ad features Alexis Nungaray, Jocelyn's mother, describing her experience finding her daughter bound and dead near a skate park and includes footage of the girl when she was young.
"Kamala Harris was in charge of immigration and our borders. If we had better border policies and not open borders and not these catch and release policies, I truly believe this all could have been prevented," Nungaray said.
She went on to describe her interactions with Trump, following her daughter's death.
"President Trump reached out, gave me his sincerest condolences as, not as a former president, but as a father, as someone who cares," she went on. "I believe Donald Trump needs to be back in office. I can at least know that my next child will be safe in this country."
The case has not yet proceeded to trial.
