Trump shows off nearly finished Reflecting Pool

President Donald Trump this week showed off the progress of his efforts to renovate the Reflecting Pool on the National Mall, one of his many projects in the nation's capital.
"The Reflecting Pool is 85% full, and looking really good! It hasn’t worked properly since 1922, but will now" Trump posted on Truth Social. "We have cameras set up to stop any potential Vandalism, including the grassed areas, which were destroyed by chemical poisoning with a large, and very inappropriate, phrase. The grass was completely replaced!"
The Reflecting Pool sits between the Lincoln Memorial and the World War II Memorial on the National Mall. Trump's renovation efforts have made headlines for months and attracted scrutiny from his left-wing critics, as well as some alleged acts of vandalism.
Other renovations have included the equestrian statues near the Arlington Memorial Bridge and the fountains at Union Station and Meridian Park. Trump has also begun construction of a White House ballroom.
