Trump expected to sign executive orders that will ban DEI, transgender troops from US military
Trump is also expected to sign an order that will reinstate service members with backpay who were discharged when they refused to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
President Donald Trump is expected Monday to sign three executive orders including ones that bans diversity, equity and inclusion programs from the U.S. military and transgender people from serving.
Trump has already signed an order that revoked the Biden administration’s 2021 move that allowed transgendered individuals to serve in the military.
The new order is expected to go further and present military standards about pronouns and physical readiness for transgenders to join the military.
Trump is also expected to sign an order that will reinstate service members with backpay who were discharged when they refused to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
