Trump slams Harris over campaign down time: 'I'm not taking a day off'
He further pushed back on past claims that he was "exhausted", calling it "disgraceful."
Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday took a shot at Vice President Kamala Harris for taking time off the campaign trail as she filmed an interview for NBC News.
"I have 14 [days] left, and I'm not taking a day off," he said on the "Just the News, No Noise" television show, in an interview to be aired Tuesday evening. "And she took today off. She's taking, I think, tomorrow off too, yeah. And how do you take two days off when you have 14 days to the presidency?"
He further pushed back on past claims that he was "exhausted", calling it "disgraceful."
"No, they just they make it up. It's fiction, and it's a disgrace that they're allowed to say it," he went on. "I've never dealt with a group like this. I have never felt stronger, never felt better."
The Trump campaign, moreover, has held nearly triple the campaign events as Harris since she became the Democratic nominee.
