Trump notches key endorsement from major law enforcement labor group
The union represents more than 377,000 members and previously endorsed Trump in both 2016 and 2020.
Former President Donald Trump on Friday received the endorsement of the Fraternal Order of Police, a major boon for his law and order message heading into the November election.
The organization represents more than 377,000 members and previously endorsed Trump in both 2016 and 2020.
“Our members carefully considered the positions of the candidates on the issues and there was no doubt—zero doubt—as to who they want as our President for the next four years: Donald J. Trump," National President of the Fraternal Order of Police Patrick Yoes said in a press release on Friday.
“He provided our nation with strong, effective leadership during his first term, and now that he is seeking election to a second term, we intend to help him win it," Yoes added.
Trump is slated to address the FOP later on Friday in Charlotte, N.C.
