Tulsi Gabbard aiding Trump with debate prep against Harris
Gabbard herself previously debated Harris in the 2020 Democratic primary cycle during which she attacked Harris's record as a prosecutor.
Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, is aiding former President Donald Trump in his debate preparations against Vice President Kamala Harris, the New York Times reported.
Trump and Harris are set to debate Sept. 10 on ABC News.
Speaking to the NYT, Trump Campaign National Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump "will continue to meet with respected policy advisers and effective communicators like Tulsi Gabbard, who successfully dominated Kamala Harris on the debate stage in 2020."
So far, her contributions to Trump's efforts appear to have been limited to a recent practice session Trump held at Mar-a-Lago.
Gabbard herself previously debated Harris in the 2020 Democratic primary cycle during which she attacked Harris's record as a prosecutor. She ultimately left the Democratic Party and has found some traction with Republicans.
