Vice President JD Vance will on Monday address the Republican Jewish Coalition at its annual meeting, this year in Las Vegas.

The RJC is a group of prominent Jewish conservative activists, and its gatherings are a regular campaign stop for politicians on the presidential circuit. 

Vance has publicly criticized Israel's government, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, suggesting it has made poor diplomatic decisions throughout the ongoing Gaza War with Palestinian-backed Hamas and risked alienating the U.S.

He has faced scrutiny over his ties to Tucker Carlson and other conservative media critics of Israel and the Iran war.

In addition, concerns about antisemitism are prevalent across the political spectrum ahead of the November midterm elections.

The event Monday will not be open to the news media, according to the Associated Press. 

His address comes amid a growing generational divide over American support for Israel, which has also affected Republicans.
