Vance's plane makes emergency landing over 'malfunction with door seal'
The Trump campaign, earlier this month, unveiled its acquisition of a Boeing 737 dubbed "Trump Force Two" for the purpose of transporting Vance. It is unclear if the malfunctioning plane is the same aircraft.
Republican Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance was forced to make an emergency landing on Friday afternoon due to a malfunction.
The Boeing 737 touched down at Milwaukee International Airport and their were no reported injuries, WISN reported.
“The pilot advised there was a malfunction with the door seal. After declaring an emergency, Trump Force Two returned to Milwaukee. As soon as the issue was resolved, the plane returned to its originally planned flight path back to Cincinnati," a spokesperson for Vance told the outlet.

Boeing planes have come under scrutiny in recent months, due in part to viral videos depicting malfunctions, such as one clip showing the blowout of a Boeing 737 Max 9's door panel while mid-flight that circulated in January. Trump Force Two is not the same variant.
