Win It Back PAC launches $12 million ad buy to boost Kari Lake
Gallego currently leads Lake by 7.3% in the RealClearPolitics polling average, earning 50.3% support to her 43.0%.
Republican Senate candidate Kari Lake is poised to receive a boost in the form of a multi-million dollar ad buy from the Win It Back PAC, which could help her close the spending gap between her and Rep. Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz.
The organization's $12 million ad campaign launched Wednesday and includes English and Spanish language ads targeting Phoenix and Tucson, Politico reported.
Gallego currently leads Lake by 7.3% in the RealClearPolitics polling average, earning 50.3% support to her 43.0%.
Though Lake emerged as a Trump-aligned, MAGA-oriented firebrand during her 2022 gubernatorial campaign, she has managed to secure more conventional Republican support for her Senate run, even drawing backing from the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
But even with much of the GOP rallying behind Lake, she faces a significant spending disparity. Thus far, Lake and her supporting groups have committed $24.5 million in ad spending compared to Gallego's roughly $83 million.
The Win It Back PAC's efforts could prove pivotal in helping to bridge the gap.
