The state election official's recommendations include 1,084 noncitizens who appear to have registered to vote unlawfully in Ohio, including 167 noncitizens who appear to have voted in a federal election in the past four election cycles.
"Non-citizen voting violates citizens’ inherent right to direct how their communities are governed," Derek Lyons said.

"I think that the allegations that came up in the 2020 election just simply haven't been looked into, and that's why you see so many questions coming from millions of Americans about some of the election integrity issues in 2020," Tshibaka said on The Water Cooler with David Brody.
"We're hoping state and federal legislators consider the reforms in the report and work to pass laws to implement them and ensure the security of UOCAVA ballots," Patrice Johnson said.
"In light of the open-borders policies of the Biden-Harris Administration, DHS's failure to comply with the Ohio Secretary of State's requests for federal citizenship information is deeply concerning," Jordan's letter reads.
Schoeman said the first change will be an optional expansion for early voting.
