A GOP-led U.S. House panel previously subpoenaed Wade as part of an investigation into his alleged romantic and financial relationship with Willis.
"There's a possibility that you could have a trial on some issues before the election," Dershowitz said on the "Just The News, No Noise" TV show. "We'll see a lot of litigation, a lot of strategy, a lot of tactics being employed over the next months. The real question is, can they squeeze in a trial in October?"

Prosecutor Nathan Wade and District Attorney Fani Willis, who are prosecuting former President Trump in Georgia, are alleged to have engaged in an improper relationship and benefitted financially from taxpayer dollars and the Georgia State Senate plans to probe the allegations.
The attorney general's decision has come under fire, with critics decrying the motive as political.
The prosecution is technically seeking 62 months in prison for his offenses, but the court is expected to rule it as time already served, due to serving five years in a London prison.
"Right now Matt Gaetz says that it's not true, and we don't have any information," the House GOP leader said.
