A key figure in Hunter Biden's early relationship with CEFC China Energy, Bobulinski is set to appear before the House Oversight Committee at 10AM on Tuesday for an interview as part of the ongoing impeachment inquiry into President Biden.
The action comes after both Biden’s were accused by the impeachment inquiry committees of lying during their testimonies.
Detailed plan obtained by congressional investigators show Biden sought to help CEFC China Energy buy Westinghouse, the premier maker of U.S. nuclear reactors.
Hunter Biden was also involved in deals with foreign nationals from China, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Romania, the timeline shows.
“The SPR was created so the US would have a stockpile of crude oil supply to be used in the case of an emergency. It was never intended to provide oil to adversaries such as China,” the lawmakers argue
Hunter Biden delivered his closed door testimony to the Oversight Committee on Wednesday, conflicting with statements from other sworn witnesses and evidence accepted by the FBI as genuine from his own emails.
Bobulinski previously produced text messages to the FBI covering his business dealings with Hunter Biden and the Chinese energy company CEFC and has publicly accused the Bidens of lying.
Ho previously served as the head of an NGO backed by CEFC China Energy, a now-defunct firm that has come under scrutiny over alleged dealings with the Biden family.
