The US Department of Agriculture is awarding $30.8 million to the nation’s 19 historically Black land-grant universities for agricultural and nutritional research.
"In yet another attempt to enforce its far-left climate agenda, Biden’s EPA is pushing new burdensome rules that’ll shut down power plants, weaken our electric grid and hike up costs," Rep. Richard Hudson, R-N.C., said in a post on social media.

The climate law, signed by then-Gov. Andrew Cuomo, in 2019, requires New York to reduce its excess greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2030 and 85% by 2050, compared to 1990 levels.
Last week, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit rejected requests to block the rule, which grid experts say will increase the risks of blackouts.
Still, less than half of Americans said the regulations would "cost too many jobs and hurt the economy."
In U.S., younger conservative voters, business leaders are increasingly acknowledging climate risks and are "working to reframe environmental responsibility as compatible with free-market principles."
