Biden was 'aware' of Michael Flynn probe during transition

<p>Former Vice President Joe Biden, during an interview with ABC’s “Good Morning America,” said he was “aware” at the time of the investigation intoTrump’s former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.</p><p>“I was aware that they had asked for an investigation, but that’s all I know about it and I don’t think anything else,” Biden said when pressed by George Stephanopoulos over what he knew about the Obama administration’s moves to investigate Flynn during the presidential transition.</p><p>Documents released last week reveals that there was an Oval Office meeting on Jan. 5, 2017 where Flynn apparently was discussed.</p><p>In the interview, Biden said that 'this is all about diverting attention from the horrible way in which he has acted," referring to President Trump.</p><p>"We don’t have coronavirus because of him, but we have the devastating impact of it because of his lack of a policy, because of his lack of action. It’s all about diversion.”</p><p>The Justice Department is moving to drop the criminal charges against Flynn for lying to the FBI.</p>
