This week's JTN Golden Horseshoe winner: the Department of Health and Human Services

Every week here at Just the News, we give out this award that we call the Golden Horseshoe. It's a designation from us, designed to highlight egregious examples of wasteful, fraudulent and abusive spending of taxpayer dollars by the government. We named the award after the horseshoe shaped toilet seats that were designed for military airplanes and purchased by the Pentagon for $640 each back in the 1980s.
