The Adelaide Zoo celebrates International Tiger Day

To commemorate International Tiger Day on July 29, Adelaide Zoo delighted its Sumatran tigers with concealed, meat-stuffed treats as part of enrichment activities. This included three 7-month-old cubs.

The zoo underscored the significance of these activities in encouraging the tigers to display their innate behaviors. They further emphasized their commitment to conservation, particularly for this critically endangered species, considering that only 400 Sumatran tigers are estimated to remain in their natural habitat.
