Adidas ends partnership with Kanye West following antisemitic remarks

German athletic shoe and clothing company, Adidas, says it has ended its partnership with Ye, the musician formerly known as Kanye West, following his recent antisemitic comments. Kanye West created a firestorm earlier this month when he made several antisemitic comments during a podcast. Adidas and West have had a long-standing partnership, but pressure to end the relationship between Adidas and West grew substantially over the past few days, as some on social media called on Adidas to cut ties with West immediately.
