AG Garland: DOJ has convicted 600 of criminal conduct related to Jan. 6
At a press conference after the Proud Boys jury conviction on Thursday, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland reported the conviction of 600 individuals by the Department of Justice in connection to criminal conduct leading up to and on the day of the January 6 Capitol riot. “We have secured the convictions of defendants who fought, punched, tackled and even tased police officers who were defending the Capitol that day,” said Garland.
