Amazon discontinues celebrity voices on Alexa, offers refunds

Amazon is set to discontinue its celebrity voice feature on the company’s Alexa devices, according to a statement Tuesday. Former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal and actors Samuel L. Jackson and Melissa McCarthy will stop being available on Alexa by September; no reason was given for the add-on’s termination. Customers can request refunds for previous purchases.
