The Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, FL says two critically endangered grasshopper sparrow chicks recently hatched after incubating in their eggs for just ten days. The newborns will stay with their parents for about three weeks before eventually being released into their native habitat in central Florida to help bolster the birds' tiny population.
