Buckingham Palace flags lowered to half staff following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II

Flags at Buckingham Palace were lowered to half staff today upon the announcement that Queen Elizabeth II passed away at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. The 96 year old had been struggling with health issues recently and Buckingham Palace says her family was called to be by her side.
