Crackdown on students' protest continue in Iran

Protests continue in the capital Tehran, as these images from iranwire show. The education minister told an Iranian newspaper that some student protesters are being detained and sent to mental institutions for "re-education." Yousef Nouri attempted to clarify that the students are not being put in prison -- saying, "if they are detained, it is for them to be reformed and re-educated in psychological institutions." He added that "they can return to class after they’ve been reformed." Nouri did not say how many children were in custody.
