Dozens of airlines fined by U.S. intelligence agencies

U.S. immigration authorities have fined dozens of domestic and international airlines millions of dollars, with the fines amounting to approximately $6.7 million from January 2019 to December 2022. These penalties were imposed due to the airlines' transportation of passengers into the United States with expired foreign passports, invalid visas, or damaged documents that were unreadable.
