Dr. Majed Al-Ansari, senior advisor and spokesperson to the Qatari Prime Minister, says Qatar has been working alongside D.C. negotiators for months to secure the release of American citizen George Glezmann from the Taliban. Al-Ansari says Glezmann is on a flight to the United States from Doha right now, where he’ll be reunited with his wife after two years apart.
