Erich Pratt blasts proposed ATF rule to regulate private gun sales

Gun Owners of America Senior Vice President Erich Pratt says the newly proposed ATF rule will move the U.S. “as close to universal background checks as possible.” “Backdoor registry will require virtually every person who sells a gun to become a licensed gun dealer or else they go to jail,” Pratt explains. “And virtually every person who buys a gun, even privately, will have to register the sale with the federal government. Again, failure to do so means jail time.”
