FBI warns against using public charging stations

The Denver FBI Office issued a warning over Twitter Monday advising travelers to avoid using public charging stations in airports, hotels, and shopping centers. “Bad actors have figured out ways to use public USB ports to introduce malware and monitoring software onto devices,” the agency tweeted. The FBI suggests carrying your own charger and using an electrical outlet instead.
