Federal Reserve hikes interest rates again
The Federal Reserve has hiked interest rates again for the fifth time this year. In an effort to fight rising inflation, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell announced "The FOMC raised it's policy interest rate by three quarters of a percentage point." These interest rate hikes will make it more expensive for Americans to take out virtually any type of loan.
