Fire breaks out at Cambodian hotel and casino on Thai border, killing at least 8 people

At least eight people were killed after hundreds became trapped in a fire at a casino-hotel on the Thai border in western Cambodia, a Thai police captain said on Thursday, December 29. Footage released by Cambodian police shows the building engulfed in flames at the Grand Diamond City hotel and casino in Poipet.
