Former Google CEO outlines the risks of false content created with AI

Eric Schmidt, former CEO of Google, joined CNN on Tuesday to discuss the potential rise in false content as AI accessibility continues to expand rapidly. Schmidt said “all the players”, from corporations to governments, will inevitably use AI technology to manipulate and misinform the public. “The fact of the matter is, the diffusion of this technology is accomplished and it's available globally. You have no idea today who made the video and the image that you're viewing on a social media platform today. You honestly just don't know. How can that be, okay?” asked Schmidt.
