Former NSA employee arrested on espionage charges

A former National Security Agency employee was arrested Wednesday on espionage-related charges after trying to sell U.S. secrets.

According to the Justice Department, 30-year-old Jareh Dalke is accused of trying to sell U.S. secrets to an undercover FBI agent who he believed was a representative of a foreign government.

The Colorado man worked as an information systems security designer for less than a month.

He left in early July, citing a situation with his family, and reportedly began corresponding with the undercover agent weeks later.
