Health Minute: U.S. life expectancy is the lowest it's been in decades

U.S. life expectancy is the lowest it's been in decades, according to a new report by the CDC. After 2020, US life expectancy dropped to 76 years old. The CDC stated the driving factor was fatalities from the COVID-19 virus, with COVID-19 deaths contributing to half the decline. The other half of the decline was attributed to unintentional deaths, primarily drug overdose deaths.
