Heritage Foundation challenges Prince Harry’s visa over past drug use admission in memoir

At a hearing Tuesday in Washington court, a federal judge ordered the Department of Homeland Security to decide by next Tuesday how to handle the Heritage Foundation’s request to see Prince Harry’s visa application to the U.S. The Heritage Foundation issued a FOIA request to see Harry’s immigration records as part of their questioning on whether immigration officials properly handled his application considering his admittance of prior drug use. “we believe there is a tremendous public interest in the release of these records in order to establish that U.S. immigration law is fair and that it applies equally to everyone,” said Heritage Foundation Director Nile Gardiner outside of court Tuesday.
