Hong Kong-born Olivia Chow elected mayor of Toronto
The Hong Kong-born Olivia Chow claimed victory in the Toronto mayoral election on Monday night, June 26, becoming the first woman of color to lead the city. Footage released on Chow’s Instagram page shows her victory party on Monday night. Unofficial results showed Chow won approximately 37 percent of the vote, CP24 reported.
