House Chairmen request AG Garland provide documents related to Hunter Biden plea deal
A trio of House Republican committee heads sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland Monday requesting documents and communications on presidential son Hunter Biden’s plea deal with the Justice Department. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY), and Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) asked Garland to respond by August 14 at 5 p.m. ET with the information they requested.
