Jesse Binnall demands left-wing judges, DAs face consequences for engaging in politics

Jesse Binnall, attorney for Donald Trump, says it’s unlikely Judge Juan Merchan will be disqualified from the former president’s criminal trial. “I think in order to put a permanent stop to the lawfare of the left that we’re seeing right now, there is going to have to be long-term accountability and we need to send a message loud and clear to future prosecutors and future judges that you will not use your judicial office in order to play politics,” says Binnall. “If you want to play politics, take off your robe for good, go run for office, go be a political consultant. But if you’re going to wear the robe, do not engage in politics.”
