Joran van der Sloot faces arraignment
Joran van der Sloot, who is accused of extorting and defrauding Natalee Holloway's mom, faces arraignment in federal court Friday. He will stand trial in the US on extortion and fraud charges related to an alleged plot to extort Holloway’s family after her disappearance. Van der Sloot is the prime suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway.
