JUICE spacecraft blasts off to explore Jupiter and its moons
The European Space Agency’s Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer Mission (JUICE) launched Friday morning from Europe’s French Guiana spaceport. JUICE will travel through the solar system for 8 years before reaching Jupiter in July 2031. The European spacecraft will spend about three and a half years orbiting Jupiter and three of its largest, icy moons.
