Former House investigator Kash Patel says he hopes newly appointed House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) takes omnibus bills off the table and supports congressional Oversight committees in their investigations. Patel says he’d also like to see House Speaker Johnson use Congress’ power of the purse to hold the executive branch and intelligence agencies accountable.
