Memorial Day weekend travel surpasses pre-pandemic levels
The Transportation Security Administration reports more than 12 million people were screened through U.S. airports beginning on Thursday. That number surpasses pre-pandemic 2019 by approximately 180,000 passengers with the busiest day being Friday with nearly 3 million travelers.
