New defense bill could include end to military vaccine mandate

An upcoming defense authorization bill could end the military COVID vaccine mandate, according to a source familiar with the negotiations.

The White House says it still supports the mandate but recognizes the need for bilateral support for the annual spending bill in Congress.

The bill is expected to be unveiled as early as Monday and will likely be approved by Congress within the next two weeks.
