Parkland Florida mass shooter avoids death sentence
Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School mass shooter Nikolas Cruz will not be receiving the death penalty for the shooting deaths of 17 teenagers in Parkland, Florida. Cruz pled guilty to 17 counts of murder and 17 counts of attempted murder. His sentencing hearing will be held on November 1, 2022.
